Co-workers have started discovering the power of branches, could be because I’ve been sharing tutorials on them, could be because we’re making so many breaking changes lately.
As such I find myself needing to manage their branches in git more often, and I keep reaching for this post.
git fetch --all git branch -r git checkout -b waldo-svn remotes/waldo
and keeping the branch up to date:
git checkout waldo-svn git svn rebase
